Portable power from water

The HydroPak product combines Horizon's fuel cells with Millennium Cell's Hydrogen on Demand storage technology - a clean and quiet alternative to lead acid battery packs and portable generators.

The HydroPak is designed with a common AC outlet and two USB connectors to charge or operate low power devices such as portable lights, notebook computers, portable televisions and ad hoc communications networks for more than 14 continuous hours when needed.

Horizon Fuel Cell Technologies has completed pre-production of the HydroPak portable power generator. The first of the HydroPak line is in pre-production stage and has initiated UL and CE certification and first shipments are expected to start in late 2008.

The suggested retail price has been set at $400 and $20-30 for each 270Wh cartridge refill.

Modern Charging Station

A contemporary Charging Station is a smart way to recharge up to four electronic devices at one time. Its space-saving design easily recharges cell phones, PDAs, MP3 players, and games via a surge-protected power strip concealed inside, which discreetly hides unsightly cords. It has a very handy bottom storage drawer to hold your watch, keys, pens, etc.

This would be the perfect complement for the walking closet or wherever you unload all your stuff before undressing.

Quiet dependable power anywhere

We all know that bio-diesel is the stupid solution to fossil fuel dependency, but not every one knows about the smart solution. This is a good time to learn more about it: Fuel Cells.

Fuel cells generate electricity directly, without a noisy motor, using a clever electrochemical process. They can use a diversity of fuels including ethanol, methanol, butane, etc. However, until now, there have been no real consumer products using fuel cells.

SFC is the first company to market commercial fuel cells for a variety of applications. With the introduction of the EFOY line, SFC is targeting the motor home owners market. However, there are many applications for these beauties.
